Perhaps the whole purpose of this music was to make\u00a0one&#8217;s \u00a0rubber band break,\u00a0 head and limbs detach and become one with the chaos of the\u00a0in this junk room; if so, it\u00a0&#8216;s working.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0This music \u00a0was not a soothing, restful, spiritually satisfying\u00a0 addition to the ambiance, that, in her* ever modest opinion, was craved. \u00a0But, I was so happy to have\u00a0&#8220;Betty Jane&#8221; in the &#8221;\u00a0here and now&#8221;\u00a0to discuss or repeat unnecessary truths. Having her here again was more or less a &#8220;freeing&#8221; experience to what-ever and which-ever direction\u00a0things flew, as little\u00a0is of no consequence to us both when we are quite busy.\u00a0 However, all had changed in the absence of her participation and she was none too pleased with how this happened, regardless of\u00a0mine or anyone elses\u00a0wishes. In fact, the concept of the word <strong>Random<\/strong>, pissed her off\u00a0, most assuredly.\u00a0 And lets face it , yawls; <strong>ain&#8217;t\u00a0nothing<\/strong>\u00a0really too dang\u00a0<strong>&#8220;random,&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0 that was ever picked out <strong>by this blankety blank computer, no how.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 It occurred to Betty Jane that real music, involves the very human personal offering\u00a0 by\u00a0real live musicians (People not machines). And even letting that idiotic box-thing pick out what was to be played seemed, well&#8230;just wrong, in many ways.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 And <em><strong>music<\/strong><\/em> is\u00a0something that every<strong>one <\/strong>relates to, in their own way, with their own ears,\u00a0a very personal\u00a0 choice that has been made by the listener, for his or her needs at the time, \u00a0however dusty, germ infested, mold infested the needs or ears of said listener\u00a0may be. But what she heard\u00a0now, did not make her feel good.\u00a0 And when\u00a0\u00a0any doll or person does\u00a0\u00a0<em>not \u00a0&#8220;get<\/em>&#8221; the\u00a0locals&#8217; music\u00a0being played\u00a0(particularly when it is being played constantly in\u00a0one&#8217;s newly awakened and transferred assignment)\u00a0all dolls and people\u00a0tend to\u00a0feel\u00a0alone, maybe totally alienated from life, and truly sad.\u00a0 Lets face it, right next to that Box thing\u00a0which that old lady\u00a0stares down for many a moment, next to Betty Jane&#8217;s person was a grown up and over the hill version, she thought, of who <strong>could be <\/strong>my former little girl and playmate (that would be me to whom she refers here) but who knows? \u00a0She\u00a0could be an actor, that happens too.)\u00a0\u00a0 We\u00a0are\u00a0both\u00a0a\u00a0little &#8220;old-time&#8221; for that\u00a0 music being offensively played here in her space, as far as\u00a0musical history is concerned.\u00a0Hasn&#8217;t she noticed this?\u00a0 \u00a0So, whats the point?:\u00a0\u00a0 Who needs that?\u00a0\u00a0 What we don&#8217;t need\u00a0in this junk room, is something that makes you feel bad or out of it.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0No way! It&#8217;s bad enough as it is.\u00a0And incidently, what&#8217;s with all this &#8220;junk&#8230;&#8221;\u00a0 Perhaps her &#8220;geezerly former little girl&#8221; had become\u00a0 one of those hoarders, like that old lady who we used to visit in Arlington, Virginia, who had piles of newspapers and old bottles and cans in moving boxes lined up through out her house.\u00a0 Role models, they&#8217;re \u00a0every where.\u00a0 Too bad this dang geezerly former little girl didn&#8217;t get \u00a0transfered long ago.\u00a0 All this extra stuff would be long gone,if so.\u00a0 \u00a0but who knows?\u00a0\u00a0Time, however many days, months or years we were dis-involved together, had really changed her little girl, Caroline U. Hiney Hine.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0Regardless of one&#8217;s surroundings:\u00a0 What <em>we want<\/em>\u00a0 here and now is music\u00a0that&#8217;s up-lifting and familiar, that is like a warm bath on a very hot or cold day, or when we put on freshly ironed clean clothes and are prepared for the possibility of the Queen of England&#8217;s visit for tea&#8230;\u00a0Frankly she was &#8220;antsy&#8221; in these surroundings. as it is said, &#8221; who ain&#8217;t, ain&#8217;t worth knowing&#8221;. (1.&gt;)<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 She, Betty Jane,\u00a0was used to the greats: Chuck Berry.\u00a0 Little Richard.\u00a0 Muddy Waters.\u00a0 Hank Williams.\u00a0 Ernie K Doe.\u00a0 Ike and Tina;\u00a0 (lets face it, there is an extreme difference in AM radio from the years 1951-2005 when she popped back into life.\u00a0 But fortunately for her, that old lady\u00a0was a\u00a0familiar spirit,\u00a0and\u00a0she had the good sense\u00a0 to play\u00a0her entire collection of Koerner, Ray and Glover,which lasted about 2 hours.\u00a0 Much better.\u00a0 (&#8220;shake it on down&#8221; Dave Ray&#8230;.) These acceptable three\u00a0 musicians\u00a0 are very good, and appear to be obvious maniacs -harmonizing in that magically rambunctious\u00a0fugue- like rendition (\u00a0that they did in their &#8216;yout&#8217;)\u00a0and it\u00a0was <strong>Just the thing<\/strong>.\u00a0 That&#8217;s a comforting experience for\u00a0all.\u00a0 We (Betty Jane and I)\u00a0share an intense regard for the lyrics and cadence of language.\u00a0 I feel a\u00a0 sad presence now.\u00a0 It\u00a0 must be because\u00a0Betty Jane\u00a0fears she is &#8220;homeless&#8221; to some extent, as the usual music and havoc\u00a0 going on in <em>the here and now<\/em>\u00a0<strong>is <\/strong>beyond redemption.\u00a0In that she surly doesn&#8217;t belong here; where the inevitability of \u00a0depression, stress, and sheer frustration, builds up in such a big way, in such a big silent\u00a0and strange \u00a0house,\u00a0until\u00a0someone inevitably flips their lid.\u00a0 <strong>Said Betty Jane: &#8221; who needs this here?&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0<strong>\u00a0 <\/strong>By the by, the secret to a good one-on-one relationship is, often, simply\u00a0making sure you take turns\u00a0blowing one&#8217;s top.\u00a0 Do that in such a manner as to make sure the &#8220;flip out&#8221; does not happen in duality;\u00a0but if it does, it is best that\u00a0the &#8220;two head explosions&#8221;\u00a0not happen at the same time. Things get messy, but\u00a0that&#8217;s the way it goes,\u00a0life.\u00a0 and all that.\u00a0\u00a0 OK.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0 As has been Betty Jane&#8217;s and my experience, when the\u00a0 &#8220;lid is flipped&#8217;, this is best described as a nervous breakdown, or can be so serious as to be suspected of being a sociopathic fit;\u00a0 when what&#8217;s really going down, is merely\u00a0 that\u00a0ones temper is\u00a0 completely lost.\u00a0 The cadence is broken, and attention spans differ, no question about that;\u00a0 <strong><em>It is\u00a0normal to express your self when<\/em> <\/strong><em><strong>you\u00a0 need something or someone badly and all you get is the side of a box.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t care what your circumstances are<\/strong> <strong>or who is\u00a0running<\/strong><\/em><strong> <\/strong><em><strong>the<\/strong> <strong>show<\/strong><\/em><strong>.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 Even if they look like her little girl, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Caroline U Hiney Hine<\/span>, it is possible but not probable that that person<strong> is<\/strong> she who once was that little girl.\u00a0 But little girls come and go, and in this family those little girls have come, and gone, and went way over the top, and beyond the great divide for some time, as a great tradition never\u00a0needs to \u00a0change,\u00a0but that does not matter here.\u00a0 \u00a0And\u00a0It\u00a0is always really hard to remember a name,\u00a0if\u00a0It&#8217;s way\u00a0too long.\u00a0\u00a0 Who does?\u00a0 \u00a0Not this doll, but some instinctual voice\u00a0is telling Betty Jane that this old hag is indeed that playfully fair kid that was hers in the first place.\u00a0 \u00a0Sure\u00a0it is.\u00a0 Oh, and\u00a0her little girl\u00a0would answer to\u00a0&#8220;<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Shorty Mentally<\/span>.&#8221; (S.M, for short)\u00a0as she was frequiently\u00a0also addressed as such.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0But whomever she is or what she was called, perhaps finally she\u00a0will begin to realize she has responsibilities, that she is NOT the only person in the world.\u00a0 Maybe these thoughts or\u00a0 actions of a disconcerting nature,\u00a0could transulate\u00a0our feelings into familiar experiences that we have shared?\u00a0 This is a difficult thing to do, however it is possible. The years seem just across the street when old familiar eyes connect\u00a0 after a period of rest and reflection.\u00a0 Like 55 years, is nothing when paired with the stone age, or when Jesus walked the earth, that was long long long ago, in a land far away. (And perfect\u00a0?\u00a0 Her little girl(geezer that she is today) she\u00a0aint.\u00a0 Even Betty Jane &#8220;recollected&#8221; what happened to that old boy in 33 B.C.)\u00a0 But we all know that.\u00a0 No need to establish given facts if you believe and are patient. However\u00a02005 years after Jesus&#8217; birth in some way leads up to now, and fantasy is not an accepted &#8220;<strong>given&#8221; <\/strong>in some people or dolls.\u00a0(2.) \u00a0Not everyone would know or understand this girl &#8211; doll relationship thing, anyway.\u00a0 However, she will, if\u00a0that really is my little personage, Caroline U Hiney Hine, of the given Jungle.\u00a0 So I, the every\u00a0wise and honest Betty Jane,\u00a0said plainly:\u00a0<strong>&#8221; Hey, Shorty Mentally, what&#8217;s wit dis dang musack?&#8221;\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Her former little girl just\u00a0 focused on her old doll with her mouth open in supprise for a very long time.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If I can just reach over and hit that &#8220;Esc&#8221; key on that new fangled typewriter, that will undoubtedly cleanse the pallet.\u00a0 It is important to gain the attention of the aspergian idiot connected to this here box, with out question, before one&#8217;s point can be made with a facial expression or even an exclamation.\u00a0 Betty Jane squinted her glassy eyes, and pursed her very red lips.\u00a0 This is a simple procedure that can be done by anyone with the nerve to interrupt one of these fiends, so don&#8217;t try this at home unless you&#8217;re really on good terms with the computer user.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Ah, hah! That worked: what a shocking experience, however one with results.\u00a0 And look who She brought here for me to meet?\u00a0:\u00a0 <strong>James Brown<\/strong>, the hardest worker in show business, and &#8220;he feels good&#8221; too.(although he is a tad repetitive.)\u00a0 So Betty Jane and James Brown had excellent company together and I am sure, will be engaged in many an odd and amusing adventure as one can imagine them to interact.\u00a0 Click on the picture above for a closer view.\u00a0 Notice how nice and clean Betty Jane&#8217;s clothing is today.\u00a0 All is well.\u00a0 Well, except for that box thing was annoying the absolute ravings out of both Betty Jane and her new friend, James Brown.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0I noticed the plug had been pulled out of the wall when next I went down to observe their progress.\u00a0 Good play, yawl&#8230;\u00a0Next adventure?\u00a0 who knows?<\/p>\n<p>AS ever,<\/p>\n<p>KayBuena\u00a0 of the here and now<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n<p>(1.)
